Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

Springfield is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Springfield is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This place is decent, provided you lower your expectations to floor level. As some individuals have already warned you, the hibachi chef is putting on a masterclass in zero enthusiasm, and the sushi looks like it was rescued from a local supermarket aisle. The hot buffet is a total game of Russian roulette—some dishes are actually good, while others make you question your life choices. Keep your standards baseline, and you’ll survive just fine.

This is a good buffet for a great price. None of the seafood smelled fishy, and the sushi was good. The other food was good too. Dessert was hit or miss but besides that, a good experience. Finished every plate besides dessert (bc it was mid). Didn’t really interact with servers but they were very quiet. Atmosphere is fine, dull.

This all-you-can-eat buffet was a major letdown. Most of the food was cold and undercooked, and I ended up getting food poisoning. The price point was reasonable, and the atmosphere was cute and cozy. The parking lot was huge, and the handicap accessible was perfect. Getting in and out was super easy, and the staff was very friendly. There were plenty of places to sit, so it was a comfortable experience overall. we went around 3, no wait not many people in there so was pretty good we sat down almost immediately. They had a lot of options plenty of food for anyone too try big salad bar also not that many people would go for a salad. The hibachi was nice but the raw meat looked like it was sitting there for hours untouched and not cold because the meat was literally changing colors as I was grabbing it. An it was so slimy like they didn’t even clean any of the meat off just straight out of the pack into pan gross. The health inspectors should really come an check it out. There is no way that raw meat was the correct temperature, an the hot food was not even hot just so many wrong ,Just such a huge super disappointed on the quality no taste undercooked and cold they seem to say with

⸻ We visited Ichiban Seafood Buffet in Springfield, PA on January 1st, 2026, to celebrate the New Year, and it turned out to be a great way to start 2026 with family and good food. The restaurant was busy due to the holiday, but the staff managed everything well and kept the buffet running smoothly. The buffet offered a wide variety of options, especially for seafood lovers. We really enjoyed the crab legs, which were refilled frequently and tasted fresh. The shrimp dishes—including fried shrimp and garlic shrimp—were flavorful and well cooked. There was also a good selection of fish, mussels, clams, and seafood stir-fry, which made the seafood section the highlight of the meal. In addition to seafood, Ichiban had plenty of Asian and American-style dishes. The hibachi grill was popular, allowing you to choose fresh ingredients like chicken, beef, shrimp, and vegetables cooked right in front of you. Sushi lovers will appreciate the sushi and sashimi selection, which included rolls, nigiri, and fresh fish options. The Chinese classics such as General Tso’s chicken, lo mein, fried rice, and dumplings were tasty and comforting. Dessert options included cakes, cookies, fruit, and ic
